Welcome to our new blog post series where we summarise recent sermons and provide reflection questions for you to ponder beyond Sunday, either personally or with a group.
For those looking to go deeper with your home group these reflections work well alongside the home group Bible study resources available via our website: https://www.sumred.org.nz/group-resources
Those home group Bible studies are based off Sunday's sermon and include a number of discussion questions and challenges for home group members. And while you can do these by yourself they are designed for groups, hence this blog post series!
Each week we will post a summary of a recent sermon with some questions to help you reflect on how you can apply the teachings of Jesus to your life. And since we're part way through our series on the Gospel of Luke we'll be posting twice a week for the next two months so we can catch up with what's happening on Sundays.
FYI these sermon summary blog posts are put together with the help of AI. What that means is that, if you want to access the full sermon, you'll need to head on over to our podcast. You can catch these weekly on our website or by going direct to the source on our Spreaker channel.
The home group Bible studies are also put together with the help of AI. What that means is, after the preacher has finished praying, preparing, and presenting, we upload their message into AI which helps us compact it down into a more accessible size. We then go over it and edit it as needed to make sure the summary is still true to the original message and Biblical text. AI does not write sermons or study content at SumRed Church, it simply helps us refine our work to make it more accessible.
